About Park Mountain

The Lodges at Park Mountain are bordered on three sides by the spectacularly beautiful Pharoah Lake Wilderness Area.

This wilderness area is famous for its large number of lakes and ponds, which teem with trout and are ideal for canoeing, fishing and swimming. Its hills and mountains are covered with ancient forests of beautiful cedar, pine, oak, birch, hemlock, beech and maple trees.

Motor vehicles are prohibited to protect the special wilderness character of the region, but a network of interconnecting trails provide access to its wonders, and are great for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Pharoah Mountain itself rises to a height of 2,557 feet and provides a spectacular view of the entire Adirondack range, as do many of the other peaks in the area.

Imagine having this national treasure in your own back yard!
